DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

BrewZilla Heat Exchanger Dish | HED | Gen 4 | 35L
Reduce heating time during your mash with the Gen 4 BrewZilla Redistribute recirculating wort for longer heating element exposure Improve heat distribution throughout the mash Speed up heating times with the Heat Exchanger Dish (HED) for Gen 4 BrewZillas. This optional upgrade accessory redirects the flow of wort so that it spends more time exposed to the heating elements before reaching the center drain at the bottom of the kettle and being recirculated. Due to the concave bottom and central draining hole on the Gen 4 BrewZilla, recirculating wort will pass through the malt pipe and then down through the boiler false bottom following the path of least resistance. This can cause wort to make a B-line for the drainage hole and reduce the wort's exposure to the unit's heating elements. With the HED installed, wort will be directed to the edge of the BrewZilla base and pass over the elements for a longer period and reduce the time needed to heat to your set temperature. For use with the Gen 4 35L BrewZilla. It is not compatible with any previous generations of BrewZillas or DigiBoils. The HED has been pressed into a slight concave shape to match the curvature of the boiler false bottom. Includes a longer eye bolt assembly than the one included with the false bottom. NOTE: The order of bolt to washer to nuts goes as follows. Eye bolt, washer, false bottom, washer, nut, HED, then wing nut. This is so that the eye bolt does not come completely removed when and if you clean underneath the Heat Exchanger Dish. KegLand Part Number: KL29353

One of the first things we noticed when pouring this beer into the pint glass was the aroma. With a dry hop addition consisting of Apollo, Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe®, and Amarillo® hops, we weren't necessarily surprised. Impressed is more like it. A balanced malt profile helps to tame the bitterness, allowing the hop flavor and aroma to be the true star in this recipe. American Oak Chips | Heavy Toast
Oak Chips are a fast and economical way to add oak barrel flavor to any beer. Oak Chips are made from seasoned American and French Oak staves which are chipped down and convection-toasted to create flavors similar to what a comparably toasted barrel would impart. The available toast levels are Medium, Medium +, and Heavy. It's important to understand that each toasting level creates different flavors in the oak; not a greater intensity of impact in your beer. Don't think of them as weak, normal & strong; they're each a different flavor profile. Heavy Toast American Oak chips will impart strong flavors of Vanilla & Char, with a small note of Clove. These chips will not impart the coconut flavor often characteristic of lower toast American oaks. Because of the high surface area, oak chips can extract quickly and care should be taken not to overdo it. Taste your beer frequently after the first week of contact and be ready to rack off the oak chips. Suggested Dosage is 1-2 oz per 5 gallons.

Centennial | Cryo Hops®
Dual purpose hops popularly used in American styles including Pale Ales and West Coast IPAs Aroma Profile: Floral, Lemon, Orange, Tropical, Woody Alpha Acids: 15.0 – 22.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer! Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil. Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material. Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier. Typical Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 15.0 – 22.0% Beta Acids: 6.0 – 9.0% Total Oil: 2.0 – 6.0% Cryo Hops® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

Chinook | Pellet Hops
Chinook hops are a very distinctive dual-purpose hop used in Ales for both bittering and flavor/aroma. Chinook hops are commonly used in West Coast style IPAs. Distinct, medium intensity spice and pine characteristics with subtle notes of grapefruit. Some consider the bittering quality of this hop to be a bit rough because it has a lingering quality. On the other hand, some brewers can't get enough! The flavor/aroma is spicy and unique, with a huge following of loyal fans. Hop Statistics Alpha Acids: 12.0 – 14.0% Beta Acids: 3.0 – 4.0% Alpha-Beta Ratio: 3.0 – 4.67 Cohumulone: (% of alpha acids): 29 – 34% Total Oils in mls per 100 grams dried: 1.5 – 2.5 Similar Hop Varieties: Northern Brewer, Columbus, Nugget

CellarScience® Oxblox 3D | Dissolved Oxygen Reducer
Easily added to mash water to reduce oxidation in finished beer Scavenges oxygen in mash water Reduces Lipoxygenase (Lox) activity in malt which reduces trans-2-nonenal stale/cardboard flavors in beer Reduces hot side aeration Results in beer with fresher flavor and longer shelf life Oxblox 3D is a specially formulated blend of gallotannins, ascorbic acid, and metabisulphite that is added to your strike water right before mash-in. It dissolves easily and is extremely useful to reduce oxidation during the mashing process. Through multiple actions, it reduces dissolved oxygen levels and helps inhibit the lipoxygenase enzyme found in malt that is infamous for causing downstream wet paper / cardboard flavors attributed by the (E)-2-nonenal compound. Oxblox 3D has minimal impact on pH but may lower pH levels by 0.2-0.4 in both the mash and the finished beer. You may not always notice stale flavor compounds in beer when present, especially at low levels. But when removed, the beer can smell and taste fresher. Beer treated with Oxblox also has an enhanced shelf life, staying fresher for longer. Overall, Oxblox 3D is a low cost, easy-to-use addition to help you brew better tasting beer that lasts longer in keg, can, or bottle. Use: Mix 0.2 to 0.4 g per gal (0.05 to 0.1 g per liter) into your strike water directly before dough-in. We recommend starting with a dosage of 0.3 g per gallon of strike water (0.08 g per liter of strike water) and adjust as desired in future batches.

Vienna Lager by John Palmer | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain
Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends! A smooth, copper lager that strikes the perfect balance between a toasty sweet malt body and the noble overtures of the hops Includes Saaz and Northern Brewer hops Estimated ABV: 5% Estimated IBUs: 32-36 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer We have been a fan of John Palmer ever since his book, "How to Brew" hit our shelves way back when. After meeting him at a few gatherings here and there, and after recommending his book hands down over any other, we decided to try and add John to our Signature Series line-up. When he agreed, we knew we would get something special from him, and he did not disappoint. John describes his kit as: "a smooth, copper lager that strikes the perfect balance between a toasty sweet malt body and the noble overtures of the hops. This interpretation of the Vienna style has more hop flavor dancing around the edges than the current BJCP guidelines specify, but the hop profile really complements the rich malt palate for a lively complexity that you don't get from the hoppier Bohemian Pilsener or maltier Oktoberfest styles, and is richer and smoother than Dortmunder Export." This beer will not dissapoint! Thanks, John, for the kit, the book, and the advice! John recommends White Labs WLP833 for a dried beer, and WLP820 for a maltier version. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.049-52 SRM (Color Range: 11 IBUs: 32-36 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 5% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. CellarScience® HEFE Dry Yeast | Wheat Ale | Premium Beer Yeast

It produces the hallmark banana and clove aromas expected in traditional Hefeweizen styles, with a clean, smooth finish and excellent drinkability. HEFE produces bright, refreshing wheat beers with pronounced banana notes (isoamyl acetate) at the higher end of its temperature range. Subtle clove character (4-vinyl guaiacol) at the lower end. Expect a smooth body and a persistent, signature haze. For brewers using pressure-capable fermenters, HEFE performs great up to 12 PSI, allowing warmer, faster fermentations while dialing back its classic banana and clove expression for a noticeably cleaner profile. Fermentation Temperature: 59-77°F (15-25°C), optimal range 64-72°F (18-22°C) Attenuation: 80–91% Alcohol Tolerance: Up to 10% ABV Flocculation: Low Direct Pitch: No rehydration needed Reliable & Consistent: Every batch undergoes PCR testing for quality control High Cell Count: 15g per sachet (over 36% more than standard 11g dry yeast packs) Dosage: One sachet is enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2–3 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly. Like all CellarScience yeasts, HEFE offers professional-grade performance for both homebrewers and craft brewers, delivering exceptional quality at an unbeatable value.

Kveik Yeastery | K.14 Eitrheim | Multi-Strain Kveik Yeast | Dry Beer Yeast
Produces beers with dominant apricot and peach flavors, complemented by subtle notes of orange and pineapple Multi-Strain Kveik Yeasts are original blends of kveik yeast cultures rather than isolated single-strain yeasts Ferments effectively across a broad spectrum (59-100°F), offering flexibility for various beer styles Achieves complete fermentation in as little as 72 hours at optimal temperatures (88-95°F), speeding up the brewing process Well-suited for a variety of beer styles, including IPA, Pale Ale, NEIPA, Stouts, and Porters Eitrheim multi-strain comes from Reidar Eitrheim in Tokheim. The flavor and aroma primarily derive from apricot and peach, with secondary notes of orange and pineapple. Eitrheim ferments well between 59-100°F and will ferment faster at higher temperatures. At an optimal temperature of 88-95°F, you can expect fermentation to take up to 72 hours. Eitrheim is suitable for IPAs, pale ales, and NEIPAs. The Eitrheim kveik comes from Reidar Eitrheim from Tokheim, Norway. Tokheim is located close to Odda in the heart of the Hardangerfjord and next to the Folgefonna National Park. The yeast has been passed on for generations, and Reidar got it from his grandfather. The yeast is very versatile and can be used in different beer types such as IPA, Pale Ale, NEIPA, Stouts, and Porters. The Multi-Strain Difference Kveik Yeastery's unique multi-strain kveik yeasts capture the true essence of traditional Norwegian farmhouse brewing, delivering a depth of flavor and robust fermentation unmatched by single-strain alternatives. While other suppliers offer isolated kveik strains, Kveik Yeastery is the only source for authentic, dried multi-strain blends, providing brewers with the complex, nuanced profiles that define classic kveik. These diverse blends offer a superior brewing experience, unlocking the full potential of this remarkable yeast. Flavor and Aroma Primary flavors: Apricot and peach Secondary flavors: Orange and pineapple The intensity is medium at high fermentation temperatures, and at lower temperatures, it will be less intense. Fermentation Eitrheim ferments well from 59°F up to 100°F. The higher fermentation temperature, the faster fermentation. At the optimum temperature 88-95°F expect fermentation to finish in 72 hours. When fermentation is done at low temperatures you can expect fermentation time to increase. For high gravity beers, we recommend users to pitch two packs of yeast and add yeast nutrition to ensure a healthy fermentation. Pitching Pitch directly into wort by sprinkling it across the surface, or rehydrate yeast. For fermentation below 64°F, or high gravity, increase pitching rate to 2.25 g/Gal. One 7 g sachet treats 5 to 8 gallons of wort. One 300 g brewery pouch treats 8.5 bbl of wort. Effective Fermentation Temp: 59-100°F Optimum Fermentation Temp: 88-95°F Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 12% ABV Attenuation: Medium

CellarScience® NE HAZY Dry Yeast | New England Ale | Premium Beer Yeast
NE HAZY is a low-flocculating, biotransformative yeast designed for NE-style hazy beers Enhances mouthfeel, turbidity, and hop aroma, creating a juicy, pillowy body and stable haze perfect for Hazy IPAs and juicy doubles Designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no pre-oxygenation before pitching required Ferment between 62-75°F NE HAZY – The Yeast for Hazy, Juicy Beers NE HAZY is our specialized ale yeast for New England style (NE) hazy beers. If you’re looking to craft a juicy, flavor-packed brew with a lasting, stable haze, this strain has you covered. This low-flocculating, biotransformative strain enhances mouthfeel and turbidity through its interaction with glycoproteins and hop compounds, making it ideal for NEIPAs, Hazy IPAs, Pale Ales, and Juicy Doubles. During fermentation, it releases mannoproteins, a class of glycoproteins from its cell walls that create a soft, pillowy body while reinforcing haze stability. NE HAZY actively participates in biotransformation, modifying hop-derived polyphenols and interacting with protein-rich compounds from wheat and oats. This process forms stable protein-polyphenol complexes that lock haze into suspension and intensify the beer’s juicy, full-bodied character. The result is an exceptionally stable haze, smooth-drinking beer with elevated mouthfeel, hop saturation, and tropical fruit expression. It ferments cleanly across a wide temperature range (62–75°F / 17–24°C) and is pressure-tolerant up to 12 PSI, making it highly versatile for a variety of brewhouse setups. Amplifies Hop Aroma & Flavor: Boosts tropical and citrus notes for NE-style juiciness Enhances Juicy Character: Transforms hop precursors into free thiols like grapefruit, passionfruit, guava, pineapple, peach, apricot, tangerine, and lime Boosts Haze Stability: Builds durable haze through glycoprotein and polyphenol interactions Flexible Fermentation: Performs across 62–75°F (17–24°C); pressure-tolerant to 12 PSI Robust & Reliable: Medium-low flocculation, consistent haze retention Attenuation: ~75–80% Alcohol Tolerance: 12% ABV Direct Pitch: No rehydration needed Quality Control: Every batch PCR-verified for purity and consistency High Cell Count: 15 g per sachet — over 36% more than standard 11 g dry yeast packs Dosage One sachet treats 5–6 gal (19–23 L). For larger batches, use 2–3 g/gal (0.5–0.8 g/L). Round up to the next full sachet rather than measuring precisely. Like all CellarScience yeasts, NE HAZY delivers professional-grade performance for both homebrewers and craft brewers producing the saturated, juicy haze that defines the modern New England IPA.

Erlenmeyer Flask - 1000 mL
The best brewers make large yeast starters to get their beer fermenting fast. Large populations of active yeast help ensure flavorful beer free of off flavors. Our 1000ml Erlenmyer Flask is the ideal vessel to make a large yeast starter for 5 gallon batches. Because it is made from borosilicate glass you can move it from a boil on your gas stove into a cold water bath for cooling, without the risk of cracking. (We do not recommend the use of an electric element. If this cannot be avoided, we recommend using a larger pot as a hot water bath on the stove.) This means you can do the whole process in one container, keeping it simple and helping to reduce the risk of contamination when transferring from one container to another. Recommended Process for Use of Flask: Double Boiler Method It is important for your safety to heat water in the flask with a heat source that distributes heat evenly. Our manufacturer has confirmed that direct heat to the glass can break down its integrity and break if the heat source doesn't distribute evenly. Morebeer! recommends using the "double boiler method." This process involves using a boiling water bath on the outside of the flask to heat up the water inside the flask. All you need is a kettle 3 gallons or larger. This process is much safer and efficient. If the flask should break or boil over, your kettle will be there to collect the contents, thus keeping your stove clean and keeping you away from potential harm. Features 1L (1000mL) Capacity Made from Borosilicate Glass Fantastic price for a flask of this size Produced for MoreBeer! Why make a yeast starter? (from our FAQ) We build starters for 3 main reasons. First, to ensure yeast health. By making a starter 1-3 days in advance, you ensure that your yeast is healthy and strong and ready to do its job. Second, to create more yeast. By making the starter you will increase the cell count of the yeast, giving you a better chance of keeping bacteria's and wild yeasts from fermenting your wort. Third, if you are making high gravity beers. If you are making a high gravity beer (1.060+) you will need more yeast to start the ferment faster. High gravity beers will also finish more completely when you pitch ample quantities of yeast. Fits our stopper 8 (FE45) In the lab world, these flasks are known as "Student Grade". A great flask for making yeast starters!(Student grade is not the highest grade flasks and will have minor defects) Kegland Part Number: KL03971

Ugly Fish IPA | Ballast Point Sculpin® Clone | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract
This hop-forward beer recipe kit is modeled after the highly sought-after Ballast Point Sculpin® IPA Bittered with Warrior® hops and finished with a beautiful blend of Cascade, Simcoe®, and Chinook late additions Estimated ABV: 7% Estimated IBUs: 62-69 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Contrary to its name, Ugly Fish IPA is actually one of the most beautiful beers we have to offer! Designed as a clone of the highly sought-after Ballast Point Sculpin® IPA, the Ugly Fish IPA is a hop masterpiece. This beer starts with a very clean bitterness from Warrior® hops, and finishes with a beautiful blend of Cascade, Simcoe®, and Chinook late additions. With almost 10 ounces of hops, the Ugly Fish IPA is definitely a hop forward beer, but does have a solid malt profile that stands up to those hops and helps to keep it reasonably balanced. If you're looking to treat your taste buds to a beer that we think has been hopped perfectly, we highly recommend the Ugly Fish IPA! Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.067-72 SRM (Color Range): 6-8 IBUs: 62-69 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 7% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”. For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All included steeping grains will come milled. Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME) MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers. Simcoe® and Warrior® are registered trademarks owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

Witbier Belgian Ale | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain
Light, crisp flavor spiced with Bitter Orange Peel and Coriander Includes 100% Saaz hops Estimated ABV: 6% Estimated IBUs: 16-20 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer A very unique Belgian Ale. This recipe has moderate bitterness from early kettle additions of Saaz hops. This beer is spiced with Bitter Orange Peel and Coriander which lends a surprisingly pleasant flavor and aroma. The grain bill includes Oats and Flaked Barley which when combined with a very special non-flocculating yeast leaves a cloudy, almost white appearance. Hence the name wit which means white. This is a very refreshing style that has a light, crisp flavor. There are some phenolic flavors as well, like you would find in some Belgian Abbey Ales and even German Hefeweizen. Hoegarden or Celis White would be some commercial examples that represent this style.
