Cannular Pro Visy Chuck | Suits 202 CDLE/CDL Ends
Easily switch your Cannular Bench Top Canning Machine between B64 and CDLE ends without changing rollers Specifically designed for use with Visy/CDLE (Ardagh) can ends Hardened stainless steel construction, machined to tight tolerances for consistent seaming This chuck allows the Cannular Bench Top Canning Machine to be used with Visy/CDLE ends. Instead of changing the rolls, simply swap the chuck, make minor adjustments to the rolls and table height, and you can quickly seam CDLE ends. Most aluminum can bodies are manufactured to the 202 standard. Two primary manufacturers produce lids for these 202 cans. The B64 is the standard lid used on most of the 500ml and 330ml cans we offer. Both 202 can designs are also compatible with other CDLE ends, should you wish to use your own. About Can End Manufacturers Two major competitors produce aluminum beverage can lids: Ardagh Group (a European company) primarily supplies CDL-type ends, and Ball (an American company) mainly supplies B64 and other end types. CDL and B64 are the dominant end types for 202 can bodies. B64 ends are commonly used in America, while CDL ends are more prevalent in Europe. About CDLE Ends CDLE ends are the primary type sold by Visy, as they license the technology from Ardagh Group. While some may refer to them as CDL ends, the correct technical name is CDLE. This should not be confused with the CDLE's predecessor, CDL+. Carapils Malt - Briess Malting
1.7 °L - Briess Malting - Carapils adds body, mouthfeel and improves head retention by adding dextrines, proteins, non-starch polysaccharides, and other body-building compounds into your wort. Carapils is usually used at a level of 5% or less of your total all-grain malt bill. However it can be used at a higher rate in special cases, say if you are making a Session IPA, and are trying to simulate a higher gravity beer. Because of its extremely light color and neutral flavor it won't have much affect on the final color or flavor of your beer. Carapils belongs to a category of malts labeled as Dextrine, sometimes Dextrin, malts. We mention this because you might see either of these names in your recipe. You can steep Carapils in an extract batch but will only get about 20% utilization, or 20% of the goodies of this malt dissolved into your beer. While not as complex as Carapils malt, for extract brewing some brewers prefer to use dextrin powder.

Carbonating Keg Lid | Quick Beer Carbonator | Welded Gas-In Ball Lock Body Connect | 0.5 Micron Diffusion Stone
Fully carbonate your beer in under 2 days! With the Carbonating Keg Lid you can quickly carbonate beer without the risk of over carbonating like with the burst carbonation method Diffusion stone disperses CO2 directly into solution for faster gas absorption Brand new keg lid complete with o-ring and PRV The easiest way to carbonate beer. This is a Cornelius keg lid with built-in carbonation stone! Move the lid from keg to keg to carbonate as needed. Allows you to force carbonate quickly using the attached .5 micron stone with the portability of being able to move the lid from keg to keg. No more hassles of trying to attach and unattach line from the "gas in" dip tube. Simply connect your gas quick disconnect to the included fitting on the lid and allow carbonation to begin. Sometimes also called a carbonater. We constructed the lid by welding on a 1/4" barb to the underside of the lid. To that we attached 2' of 1/4" ID tubing that attaches to a .5 micron carb stone on the other end. The flexible tubing, as opposed to rigid tubing, allows the lid inserted into any cornelius style keg. The top of the lid has a "gas in" ball lock body connect welded in place that works with the KEG710 and KEG730 gas quick disconnects. Use: Beer must be stored cold at 34–40°F. Preboil the stone for 2–3 minutes before using. This assures you that your stone is sterile and any residual oils have been boiled off. Sanitize the whole keg lid before submersing into your keg filled with beer. Set your PSI on your regulator to 3–4psi and attach your gas in fitting to the body connect on the lid. Leave keg at this pressure for 1 hour. Raise your pressure 2PSI per hour until you reach 10–12psi. Leave it at 10–12psi for 24 hours. Pour a pint and test the carbonation. If you think your beer needs more CO2 leave for another 4–6 hours and have another pint. Remove carbonation lid after carbonation level is satisfactory. Return original keg lid for long term storage.

Carbonation and Line Cleaning Ball Lock Quick Disconnect (QD) Cap - Red Plastic
This plastic ball lock cap features soda bottle threads, allowing you to convert a 1 or 2 liter soda bottle into a convenient travel growler. The ball lock is compatible with both gas and beverage disconnects, so you can charge the PET bottle before you leave the house and dispense on the go. Attach 3/16" or 1/4" ID tubing to the barb to serve as your dip tube and you're all set! These caps also work great for quickly and conveniently cleaning your draft lines. Mix up a small batch of line cleaning solution in a soda bottle, attach the ball lock cap, and then connect it to your beverage line. Place a bucket below your tap to catch the cleaning solution and open your faucet. Then simply turn the bottle upside down and squeeze it to push solution through your line and out the faucet. You can also choose to pressurize the bottle first, but squeezing the solution through is just as effective. Fermenting with the FermZilla? This is the same ball lock fitting included with the FermZilla Pressure Kit and it's also compatible with the FermZilla Collection Container. If you use the collection container to add dry hops, attach one of these caps and you'll be able purge the container of oxygen before opening the dump valve to introduce the hops. Attach some tubing and diffusion stone and you can oxygenate your wort through the collection container as well! When using two ball lock caps, we recommend pairing this red plastic cap with a yellow plastic cap so you can easily identify which caps are being used for liquid or gas. The barb is Duotight compatible. If you'd like to use the cap with 8 mm OD EVABarrier tubing, see DUO10. For a stainless steel option see KG50. Specs: Liquid and Gas Ball Lock Compatible Overall Length - 2.5" Barb Length - 7/8" Barb OD - 1/4" Barb ID - 3/16" 28mm PCO 1881 Threads Kegland Part number: KL1078
