    Weldless thermowell made from 304-stainless steel. The probe measures 3.9" (100mm). The threaded portion is 1/2" BSP and measures 1.57" (40 mm) long. Includes a silicone o-ring, stainless steel slimline nut, and extra long female threaded nut for mounting a thermometer.

        Could this be installed in the side of a Fermzilla?

        If you are able to cut a clean hole you should be able to install this on the side of most fermenters or kettles.

        Could this be installed in the sidewall of an igloo cooler mash tun?

        I don’t think it will work because the threaded shank isn’t long enough to span the thick insulated walls of the cooler and leave room for threading nuts on either side. It works fine on thin walled vessels like a stainless fermenter or kettle.
