Worked very well and easy enough to use. The flow rate is pretty slow due to its smaller size so does take some time to collect needed volume(s) for even a 5 gallon batch.

Where I live city water has a horrible taste. I was tired of going to the store to buy water. This filter is a game changer for me. I attach it to my kitchen sink and fill by mash tum HLT and drinking water dispenser. The only draw back is that you have to filter it slowly less than a gallon a minute. So it takes about 10 minutes to filter enough water to make a batch. It is a small price to pay for good/ clean tasting water. The instructions say it is good for 800 gallons or 1 year. With the city water I have I guessing 600 gallons and 9 months Still a good value for me.

Time will tell. Used water to mash 2 batches of beer that are presently in fermenters. Water has clean taste with no chlorine. Unit is big with good flow. Also used to brew coffee with noticeable improvement in taste. Would recommend.

When you order please keep in mind that you need to open the housing pull the filter & out unwrap it & and pull the papers out. To remove the housing you’ll need a spanner wrench. I would also recommend replacing the polyvinyl tubing on the out line to silicone. The poly tubing can be very rigid and difficult to maneuver

I didn't notice there was a plastic wrap over the filter inside the unit and no instructions. But overall I like how it works and was solid on first try.

Great unit. works as designed and well worth the money saved having to buy gallons and bottles of water. You honestly cannot go wrong. The only thing I may recommend is a longer outlet hose depending on if you are mounting it and how far you need to run it
