Try that with a lever or a hand corker; impossible. Please remember to adjust the depth of the plunger so that the cork is flush. My first one pushed the cork way too low and had to pull it out waste of one cork. Simple oversight. It comes shipped to you in two pieces flip it over. Take out the screw & washer put the legs on put the washer on insert and tighten the screw. Your set up is complete.

I would call it a floor corker myself as it still requires a nice bit of pressure easier applied from a standing to floor arrangement. But I love it! It is consistent and never damages the corks like my 2 hander did.
