General answer: This pump is a bit bigger than I thought it would be. My pumps are submersed in an old corny I leave in a fridge so I can't get at it easily to measure but I did have to widen one end of the corny opening to be able to get it in. The pump works GREAT though!

Yes so far mine is at 27.

This pump failed after only a few uses. I would look to something else. Not a very durable unit.

To answer this question I jammed the pump full of Costco self-serve ice cream and put the unit in my freezer thus simulating a viscous load under freezing conditions similar to chilled glycol. I learned that the unit will not plug into the electrical outlet when the freezer door is closed and therefore cannot operate. Based on this trial I would say no.

I've used it at 26-30f several times and it hasn't been a problem. So it should be fine.

I have used it in Glycol cooling system for grape fermentation temp control at 30-34 degree F. The pump was submerged in the 32 degrees glycol for 7 days. It worked great.

I use it in my kettle to clean kegs with hot PBW at 140F and it’s been working fine for a few years now.

In my experience this pump will overheat and shut off if the water is above room temperature.

I used this pump twice. The hot water made it stop working. I would spend a few extra bucks and buy a hot water transfer pump instead. This one died...

Should be 1/2" MPT. I called and asked if the duotight 9.5MM fitting works (listed as 1/2" BSP) and they said no. I ordered it anyway and it works perfectly fine.

I wouldn’t buy this pump. Mine died after only 2 uses.
