The spoon does what it needs to do!

What can I say, it's a spoon. Works well as a boil kettle spoon. pretty sturdy and nice, long handle. Way better than my crappy old plastic spoon from the Charlie Papazian era.

Got when I was doing 5 gallon extract boils. Worked great, no flex like with plastic, who wants plastic anyway for the cost. I sill use it now that I am doing 10 gallon full grain. You cannot go wrong with a SS Spoon. Besides you can't fight crime with a macaroni duck.

It is most definitely a spoon. I use a 36 qt kettle. This spoon works perfect.

It's the perfect fit for my 5 gallon kettle. Edges aren't sharp. It's built solid and stiff, and doesn't warp with vigorous stirring. Easy to clean. Great value!

Stainless steel can be easily sanitized and cleaned. Rugged and perfect for use in stainless kettles, etc. Good value, as it both stirs and mixes. Handle is bare metal and can get a little hot if left in the kettle, but otherwise perfect.

I use this spoon for mashing and stiring the boil! Works great!

Nice long handle works great for my 15gal kettle, and perfect for a water level stick if notched or marked somehow.

It's a good spoon. Stainless = better than plastic. Only beefs are that the edges are sharp so I took a file to them; and the price sticker was backed with some kind of super glue which needed a nasty solvent to remove entirely.

Had a plastic one that I got because of the price. Well, you get what you pay for. Upgraded to this metal one and couldn't be happier.

I originally got a plastic spoon due to price, but after just a couple batches, the bottom of the sppon was all scratched up and deformed (most likely the heat was warping it). Then I decided to get this metal one, and it is awesome. The only upgrade would be if the spoon was a little deeper to hold more liquid. Right now, it only holds about a teaspoon. Also great for getting extract out of cans/bottles.

It's not too expensive and sturdy - what more could you ask for? And it's just the right size to fit in my cleaning bin.

This is a spoon. But it only get four stars because the sound of metal on metal makes my teeth hurt. I only use this in my plastic mash tun now.

I use it for for the mash, boil, and as a shovel to clean out the mash tun.

It's not just The Tick's battle cry! Too often I found myself dipping my hand into something I was trying to keep sanitary. This is the perfect length for brewing. Definitely worth the $7 investment.

Great for stirring wort, must, etc. I have a plastic spoon that I use in my bucket fermenter, but I use this one for everything else. Very durable.

It is a spoon, but it's a big one and perfect for stirring or I mainly use it for scrapping the sides of the kettle during boil. Great for not using the kitchen utensiles.

Buy it and you will have it forever! Convinced a couple new brewers to buy this when I was visiting the store in Concord about 5 years ago, they are still using it today!

It's a big shiny spoon! Actually it works very well as my affordable and durable mash paddle in a 10 gallon Rubbermaid cooler.It's also fun for my kids to pretend like their eating a giant bowl of cereal.

Spoon works great for stiring the wert in the boil! I use a plastic spoon for my mash so I dont scratch the cooler. Well worth the price!

As a homebrewer I can be lazy from time to time. I left this product outside all night after a brew day. It was pretty nasty chemo found it the next day. I dipped it in my keg that already had PBW in it. It cleaned up with no hassle. I've had it for over a year and it looks band new.

Nice quality and only a little more than plastic. Works great in my keggle and stirring must in a bucket.

Great spoon for all your stirring needs...well, unless you're making more than about 10-12 gallons, then you might want something with a longer handle.

Good price and quality. I have a 32 quart pot and the length is sufficient.
