Both being 14" I would say no. I have an 8.5 I use for sparge water. I have put this in a 15 G pot and it still doesn't hit the bottom. Got to remember that you have the temp probe sticking into the pot and any welds. This is for whole hops only not pellet. Pellets totally clog the screen and it is a ROYAL pain lifting it and getting the wort out. Just use large bags for the hops then drain/remove bags and do a good whirlpool and let it settle 45 minutes for a cone to build up after cooling to 68 or so..

I use mine in a 25 gallon boiling pot. I am not sure this would fit your needs. Morebeer does accept returns but you have to pay the return postage. Good luck!

No it doesn’t. I bought the 14 gallon kettle just to make sure it fit.

I use it in a 45 gallon kettle andnit takes about over half the diameter. Get the specs and see the difference. There are smaller versions

Micron. Its a fine 300.micron metal mesh grain basket Don't use it for.hops unless you have a 25 g boil kettle. The mesh is too fine and disrupts the boil

Great for end of boil hop stand whole hops

Ill say micron but dont ust this basket for pellets. Pellets turn ro mush and totally Blick the screen. Wirks great for whole keaf cones. Have so.e way to suspend the basket to let it drain takes about 10-15 minutes utes.

Micron describes the density of the mesh but it is metal. And 300 mesh is very dense. I like it butbyou have to be constantly stirring for max hop usage

That includes the legs. I just measured my basket and it is 12.5" deep.
