The threads were not as clean or tight as one would expect

It was exactly what I ordered.

It's a decent quality stainless fitting, no problems.

I purchased this coupler to connect my pick up tube in my keggle. I used a 1/2" close nipple to connect the 1/2" ball valve to the keg there was enough thread inside the keg to screw on the coupler for the connection between the 1/2" compression fitting for the dip tube.

I purchased this coupler with a chugger pump and ball valve. Works great, but I wish it did have a wrench point on it to help tighten it down when using it.

I purchased this coupler thinking I may need it to attach a pickup tube for my brew kettle when installing a weldless bulkhead and ball valve. However, the weldless bulkhead already had a 1/2" internal thread. Therefore, the coupler has not been needed as of this review. What can I say it is a stainless steel coupler and the machined threads look to be in good shape.

I used this coupler on my mash tun build. It gets the job done as well as provides a very clean and streamlined look. All in all, it's awesome!

I ordered several of these to connect quick connects to my pumps. A very clean and well made coupling. The coupling looks good, brushed stainless, and the threads are very clean cuts into the metal. A great piece.

I use these to keep from wearing the soft threads on the march pumps out. Couple the pump to tri-clover fittings and I don't have to remove them to clean.

I bought some of these couplers and welded them into my stainless kettle and mashtun for the ability to screw in a valve on the outside and a pick-up tube on the inside.

They have a different O.D than some of the others I had, so measure twice, cut once!

I just got a couple of these couplers as I'm having them welded onto some kettles to install 5.5kW water heater elements for a electric brewing system and these work great!
