Assembly is required but the instructions PDF is on the kegland website so no big deal there or you can figure it out from the photos. Without this guard the can seamer will fling beer in a 360 pattern once the can starts to spin so you'd need to wear an apron or figure out some other way to block it going everywhere. Not a ton of beer but just the overflow bit on the outside of the can from filling it. We used this to can a whole 5 gallon keg and it worked great. Would definitely recommend this it should come included with the can seamer in my opinion.

The Cannular is a great machine but its company seems not to understand it is selling to people who want to effectively use their products: documentation and instructions are poor. And this splash guard is a case in point--well-made works great but delivered in 30-40 pieces with no instructions. Not a big deal but lazy and seemingly clueless about the post-sale customer experience.

So I wanted this for my cannular. it looks like a nice unit on here I just opening mine up last night and went why is 3 pieces of lexan that are not even deburred or sanded clean so much buy this and you will get 3 pieces of lexan about 1 dollars worth and some screws and hinges. im sure it works great I just had to laugh when I opened the box

This guard makes a huge difference. This should just come standard in my opinion but I’m stoked I got it and cleaning up is much better with the splashguard.

This functions well and serves the intended purpose. There were no instructions for assembly so I had to put it together based on MoreBeer's picture which wasn't too difficult. Also it could have used a handle. Overall it is pretty good but I knocked it a star for the issues above.
