This is for the ball valve spigot. It goes between the ball valve and the side of the boil kettle.

I bought this thinking the same thing; one of the nylon baskets (on the kettle side of the ball) became warped from the heat. The one they sent was too big not meant for the spout. I don’t know where to get the correct sized gasket shopper off buying a whole new spout valve apparatus which I didn’t want to do. The warped one still works but I’m still looking anyway.
