Mounted in the cap of my fermzilla. Just plug the bulkhead during fermentation. I use it to clean in place and aerated my wort when transferring. I transfer at pitch temp so I dunno if it can handle 140 plus temps but I use it to clean at 130 with no issues. Fermzilla isn't rated for higher or id prolly push it. Overall a great little part that works very well for the price. Oh and I use the pump in the grainfather g40 for all uses.
First off, what other CIP system is available at this price? 95% of the homebrew pumps out there can't provide enough flow for a CIP ball; This one can. I found myself using this on just about everything after a brew day, from conical fermenters to a brewzilla, to carboys; the sky is the limit! Just hook it up to a pump and some tubing and move it around. I was using it so often I got tired of moving it around; so I got 3 more! Now I just turn a valve and everything is already set up and ready to go! A total game changer!

I have a Spike 20G HERMS setup with two March pumps. Moving the BK and MLT to and from the sink to clean and also scrub is hard on the shoulders (maybe I should work out more instead of drink beer lol). I was reading about CIP balls that required larger pumps than what I had. I didn't want to spend $500 on a CIP. So, I tried this low-cost solution. I have to say, works really well. Maybe not as great as a real CIP system, but I can clean my two kettles without lugging them to sink. The one thing I did add, was a TC bulkhead to one my kettle lids and then went to Home Depot and got some fittings to make it rigid instead of using the hose. So, for like $50 bucks total, I was able to save a lot of movement and I can let it CIP for longer and get the beer stone out vs scrubbing.
How can I attach this to a Fermzilla lid? I thought about removing the PRV and utilize that hole when CIP temporarily without moving fermenter. Anyone try this yet?
Is this safe to use post-boil to aerate hot wort during a no-chill transfer?
