    An interesting take on a Kölsch.  Inspired by our craving for German Kölsch Beers, we tried to capture the drinkability but enhance the color and maltiness. Imagine a ale beer that is ruby in color and drinks like a lager! This is it!

        extract instructions came with my all grain order

        Ordered three all grain kits and they came with extract instructions. Went online for the all grain instructions and the instructions were just generic run of the mill. thanks

        Red Kolsch Ale

        Love this brew! It has the classic Red Ale taste and is light enough to drink multiples on a hot summer day. Don't think I would change anything in the recipe. It likes 8-10 psi of CO2.

        Tasty brew.

        Put it through a three week fermentation, bottle conditioned it for a month, crammed it all in the fridge and lagered for one month and WOW is it tasty and just keep getting better the longer it lagers.

        This is one of the best recipes they have, it has a Irish red malt flavor with a lager finish.

        Excellent Hybrid

        This beer is better with Age, Great fruit taste with malty goodness. This is my Wife favorite beer, Amazing beer for Spring, Summer and Fall. If you think adding chocolate grain to a beer is bad, then try this kit and you will change your mind. I brew 10 gallon batches so when you double up on the kit you get a little ABV. On average I'm getting around 6%.

        Good Hybrid.

        This beer had a wonderful refreshing taste. It got better with age, but I wish I had given it more time in the bottle.
