This kit has everything you need to get started. Definitely a great value! Some equipment like the cylinder for the hydrometer is flimsy and didn't survive the trip to me. The kettle is awesome. Make sure to tighten the fittings on the chiller too or you'll end up spraying jets of water at all angles.

Love the kit. It was only missing small hops bags foam drops and a kettle thermometer. Brewed the included ale. Just kegged it. Waiting two weeks to drink.

it was very well put together kit, and like always shipping was fast and the quality of everything in the kit was high. My only complaint is kind of big one. The keg it comes with is nice, but the lid does not seal properly and the metal the lever tab lock on it is too flimsy to keep pressure on the lid causing it not to seal. I had to bend the metal lock slightly to add more pressure but still have not had luck with getting a solid seal. I'm pretty bummed I haven't been able to use it, not really in a position to buy a different one either.

We have been using our kit for 2-1/2 years and have really enjoyed it. We purchased an additional keg and have a 2-keg system in our garage refrigerator.

Likes...kit is complete to brew...nicely packaged, everything seems to be good quality. I read thru all paperwork include and wrote down my own referonce note to to by on brew day. All original brew info on 3 different pages so I condensed to 1. Currently in day 5 of fermentation.

Just completed my first brew and other than the burner I’d say this kit has everything you need and more if you’re just starting out or if you’re looking for an upgrade. Disappointed because some of the equipment came scratched up and the tubing was pinched pretty bad, but overall everything still worked great.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my starter kit. Love the function of all the pieces and how easy it has made various processes. E.g. when I fill my fermentation bucket I can open the brew pot spout and let it aerate via the gravity drop in the stream. And being able to keg saving loads of time on bottling.I wish it had the option of slimline instead of standard as I intend to get a 4 keg kegerator and the komos indicates the slimline for that.

This is a great kit for homebrewing. My only gripe, per se, is the hydrometer package was damaged which caused the hydrometer to shatter. I reached out last night to support and they are shipping a new one already. They are quick and efficient and I am going to be using MoreBeer for future homebrew purchases.

I would highly recommend this kit this is my first time brewing but not the first time with a keg so it was perfect for me. Was missing a funnel not included in kit so transferring was a little difficult but other than that it was great.

Easy to use and very complete.First batch of beer is still fermenting so I can't tell you that I make great beer . . . yet; but I am really having fun with this and I expect that it will only get more rewarding!

Came with everything I need, and tomorrow my first brew will be done with secondary fermentation and will be ready to be kegged. I’m very excited! I really like this kit. It made it easy to buy everything I needed without worrying about missing out on important equipment if I pieced together my own kit. The price wasn’t even too bad considering what I got with it.

Love the kit, I have me the fundamentals to start brewing on my own really easily. The pale ale kit it came with came out great and tastes awesome. I’m starting to do all grain brewing, and I have pretty much most of what I need from the starter kit. I would highly recommend this kit for anyone looking get serious about brewing at home.
