Most pipettes are designed for very accurate results for one particular volume. This pipette, however, has graduations for 1ml through 10ml. The design makes it less than perfectly accurate, but certainly accurate enough for most homebrew needs. It also effectively eliminates the need for separate 1, 2, 5, 10ml pipettes.
