        I've used this bag for a couple of 1 gallon all grain brews. Fits my 9.5 inch diameter (2.5 gallon) kettle. Easily accommodates the 2-2.5 pounds of grain in my mash. I will be buying another in case I need an extra.

        Worked well. Be sure you tie a firm knot if you are soaking fruit in your fermentation Cleaned pretty easy

        Wow this is a big grain bag but that is just the expected. This bag actually fits snugly around the lip of a 5 or 6.5 gallon plastic fermenter bucket. Got any friuty ideas for that?

        Will this bag fit a 8gal Megapot kettle?

        I'm not sure of the diameter of your pot. If you're thinking of a BIAB use this bag just barely fits over the lip of a 5 gallon bucket (12" dia.) and or my budget friendly 30 quart aluminum turkey fryer pot (12 1/4" dia.). The 18 in. side is the opening and it's actually only a bit over 17" laying flat. It is made of a heavy mesh material and would probably work as a BIAB on 12" diameter or smaller pots.

        I’m not clear about the 8 gallon megapot circumference diameter and height are my questions but the bag probably would fit.
