This filler took a little getting used to for getting the siphon going to fill the bottles. After doing it enough I got the hang of it and it worked great. We processed 12 cases in just under an hour! loved it!

It's a good filler, even better than they describe here. There is an incorrect statement in the description:"There is no automatic stop mechanism; the bottle must be pulled when it is filled to the proper level."Actually, it does stop when each bottle is full - specifically, when the liquid level in the neck is the same as that in the reservoir (it's a siphon - the levels equalize by gravity). The filler is designed so that you can adjust the liquid level in the bottle neck by moving the float valve up or down to set the liquid level in the reservoir, and move the bottle tray up or down to accommodate your bottle size.

Could I use this to fill syrup bottles or would the syrup be too thick?
Could I possibly use this to fill syrup bottles?
Can this unit be used to fill a half gallon and one gallon plastic cider bottle? Thank you.
Hi Alfred - As long as the bottles are not too wide and can engage the fill mechanism this size bottle shouldn't be a problem.
