        Excellent beer!

This is a high abv heavy hitter of a beer. Not to be underestimated. Tastes great with plenty of complex hop flavours.

        Amazing

I dry hopped a little later than the instructions called for, after seven days in primary instead of five. I'm not worried about it, it was still actively bubbling then. Left it to sit for a week after that and it fermented from 8% down to 9.825% with a target of 10%. I didn't hit the OG exactly, about three points low so I'm not worried about that either. I used NorCal #1 because it's the best damn yeast on this site imho.Anyway the flavors in this are amazing. You get hit with grapefruit on the nose and the honey comes through on the palette just like the real thing. Flavor seems to be spot on. I haven't put it through secondary yet, I'm transferring it now. This is just the review from tasting what was in the test jar. I've never done a review here before but I needed to for this one. It's very very good, I highly recommend this kit. I'm buying another one right now!Once i get it kegged up after secondary I'll try to remember to post a picture. The color is spot on.Finally, I can get HopSlam year round and not pay $20 a sixer!

        Delicious big beer!

I brewed this recently and it turned pretty amazing. Might have been even better had it lasted longer than two weeks. Nice light color, medium bodied and quite well balanced. Delicious IPA and very (dangerously) easy to drink. Although I missed my O.G. by a mile at 1.072, this beer will sneak up on you and make you act funny. Be advised that this is NOT a session IPA! I highly recommend this kit for anyone who loves IPA's and wants to brew a higher alcohol version. Just make sure you have some "lighter" stuff to go with it.
