    Description

    Lemondrop™ was originally developed by Hopsteiner as Experimental #01210 and released in 2012. Derived from Cascade, you will find some familiar flavors residing in these lupulin glands. The hops name alludes to the aroma descriptors of lemon, mint, green tea, and slight melon.  Lemondrop™ crushes as an aroma addition in Pale Ales, IPAs, Hoppy Lagers and NEIPAs, but don't shy away from it if you're looking to add some lemon-citrus flavor to your favorite Hefeweizen, Kolsch or Blonde Ale!

    Alpha Acids: 5.0 – 7.0%
    Beta Acids: 4.0 – 6.0%
    Cohumulone: (% of alpha acids): 28 – 34%
    Total Oils in mls per 100 grams dried: 1.5 – 2.0

        Lemon is fantastic

        I used this in a pale ale and got a ton of compliments - it's citrus, but also very fresh; makes for a good lawnmowing ale. Super refreshing.

        Lemon Drop Hops

        Dear More Beer, thank you for expediting my Lemon Drop Hops. I brewed an Independance Day Session IPA & hopped generously with Lemon Drop Hops. My fermentation is winding down and I plan to add some to primary fermentation. I brewed a standard IPA several years ago with Lemon Drop Hops & it was fabulous. I’m looking forward to similar results with my Session. Next up... a Lemon Drop Saison!!!
