This kegerator will be part of my bar in the house. In the summer I want to be able to move the kegerator to our outdoor patio for pool parties. These wheels work great and make it easy to move the kegerator across my hardwood floors that also have area rugs. Compared to the wheels that come standard it is night and day how these wheels make the kegerator extremely mobile. The wheel locks work great once you have the kegerator in place. I have the Komos kegerator and it comes with the screws inserted into the bottom of the kegerator. With the larger wheels the Komos Kegerator measures 37.5" from floor to top of Kegerator.

Very high quality & heavy duty. Used on KegLand Series X and work like a champ. If you have a smooth even floor and don't move your kegerator much the stock little casters may work. For frequent moves and/or uneven surfaces this is the way.

They're not kidding when they call these heavy duty. I would recommend these to anybody that even occasionally moves they're kegerator. They roll very smoothly and handle transitions over uneven surfaces carpets and rugs with ease. I don't move mine much but I'm still happy that I got them.

Worked as expected with a Keg King Series 4. Had to buy my own screws which kind of sucked but I just took took a screw from the bottom to the hardware store and got extras. Also note that you’ll need to grind off the screw post on the lower hinge side of the door if you want to put the locking wheel on that side. I just put both locking casters on the opposite side and it’s fine. Met expectations, way better than scratching the floor with the crappy plastic feet.

Definitely order these the standard ones are very small these allow easy movement and when locked nothing is going to move - glad I ordered.

I almost passed on the HD wheels upgrade. I am very glad I did not. My kegerator can be moved around easily more precisely and with reduced chances of damage to its finish...the reason is that the HD wheels are responsive and let you easily maneuver your kegerator for cleaning underneath etc. The wheels lock solid and can be unlocked easily as well. Worth the money for sure. Highly recommend.

If you are using this keggerator for a small bar o at a location these wheel will give you the correct height plus moving around made easy. If it’s for home and you will have it stable at one location then factory wheels are OK only lower.

My double wide kegerator came with 6 wheels. I bought the heavy duty but there are only 4. Is the bottom floor of the double wide kegerator strong enough not to have 2 wheels in the center?

How much taller is the kegerator with the heavy duty wheels compared to the standard wheels?
Never had the original wheels but the height from the floor to the bottom edge of the kegerator is exactly 5 inches with these wheels attached.
By my measurement 2 1/2”.
I have the KegLand Series 4 cooler so measurements are based on that unit which is 2'8 and one quarter " tall excluding wheels and tower. It stands 3'1and three eights" tall with heavy duty wheel option. These wheels provide roughly 5" height from floor to bottom of cooler. Not sure what the measurements were with other wheels

About 2 1/2". Final deck height on my Komos with the heavy duty wheel upgrade is 37 3/4".
When I stand the smaller caster next to the larger caster I would say that the difference is just under four inches.
The standard wheels and mounting brackets are about 2.5" tall. The heavy duty wheels and mounting brackets are about 5" tall
Maybe 1-2 inches? Would definitely recommend upgrading though the stock ones are pretty pitiful compared to the upgrades.
I never installed the smaller wheels. My kegerator sits in an area where there is plenty of room above the taps. I definitely recommend the heavy duty wheels because it makes the kegerator easy to move and lock into place.

What's the mounting plate hole spacing?
Not sure what the measurements are but the upgraded wheels holes match the holes of the factory wheels on the bottom of the kegerator. One side either front or back gets assembled sideways. Not a big deal.
There are at least 2 patterns stock wheels and the upgraded wheels however I expect other wheels will fit as well.
Sorry I can't answer your question directly but I thought these wheels would be a significant upgrade to the kegerator. I purchased them at the time I purchased my Kegland kegerator. Unfortunately there were no pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate. So sadly they were returned. I'm not sure if this helps you but I thought if you were considering doing the same I'd throw in my $0.02.
