        good secure capper

        I hold the bottle between my legs sitting down when capping. This capper goes onto the bottle smoother than any other capper I have used such as the Emily. Releasing the capper from the bottle seemed slightly more awkward. Only used it on one batch so far.

        Will the Kelly Bottle Capper cap the 500mL Belgian/Champagne style bottles?

        Yes The Kelly Capper works for these bottles.

        I am not sure about the Kelly bottle capper but the Emily bottle capper works if you remove the metal plates that clasp around the bottle. They remove fairly easily with a pair of pliers and can be clipped back in place for other bottles.
