I was attempting to use this with 5/16" ID gas lines. DO NOT WASTE your time. they will leak. I am sure these work great with 1/4" ID line but no matter how tight you get a hose clamp you will have leaks with the 5/16" lines.

it holds CO2 very well, no leaks but only a month old now.

Simple and easy to use.
The barb does a good job hanging onto appropriately sized tubing so long as you tighten a tubing clamp on it. One thing I don't like about the barb versus the flare version is you often have to cut the tubing to get it off the barb for proper cleaning, and losing a few inches each time you do that. The flare version just unscrews from the post, nice and easy.
One out of the three I ordered leaks if there is any pressure on the fitting moving it from perfectly straight on the post. It seems the weight of the hose is enough to do this in some cases. Other than that issue, they are fine. They aren't as rugged as other QDs I own.
Feels a little cheap, but it is a ball lock gas fitting. Working for me. Don't know enough to know if it is better or worse quality than competing products.
Not quite the same as the first version of Gas in fitting, but still works well.

Easy to use, easy to clean, tough. They do the job; I have several around. I suggest getting a couple of extras just in case; mine end in tubing fixtures for transferring beer and CO2. If you get the right setup with them your beer need never touch oxygen.
Easy to use & durable. I have several of these that I've taken apart and re-assembled countless times without issue. No leaks.

Some work great, others are tough to engage.After reading the tip, the "lube and turn" does work.Spray a little sani, and try pushing down at different 'times' (ie- 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock) until it seats.
Ball lock works great. No problems.

Great replacement for old original part.Be sure to take this apart and Clean, when you replace your serving lines !!!that slot on the top is for a screw driverthere is a gasket inside, clean & lubricate then rebuild.When you soak them in PBW every once and a while, they will not stick to your posts
Goes great for your favorite soda or beverage.
Great for the first time kegger that is trying to keep cost down. Hard to disassemble and I would recommend going with flare fittings.
Don't forget to take apart and clean every once in a while - get's gunked up.
Never have had any troubles except for the one that got all sticky from a spill. A quick clean up in PBW fixed it up good as new.
I bought 8 of these almost 5 years ago and my draft system is still working great.
