My son and I did a taste testing before bottling and it was excellent. A definite brew again kit.

Purchased this kit on sale not for the clone, but simply to use the ingredients and create my own Beers.. I mix and match from both the kits and experiment and usually come up with something awesome..

I don't know if I managed to capture the essence of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA, but this beer sure turned out to be a tasty one. And I achieved a starting OG of 1076, which is higher than expected. So I ended up with an ABV of 8.7%. But I'm not complaining. :o)

Fresh-Pressed clone kit of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed tastes incredible! The aroma, mouth feel, flavor profile and aftertaste are spot-on! Very simple recipe and easy to brew. I’m definitely going to brew this one again.

Great flavor and good ingredients. Almost a waste buying the ice pack for the liquid yeast. It is always melted on arrival.

This is a true to style west coast IPA, crystal clear, decent IBU's and the color is spot on. I used the WLP-001 yeast it came out clear. I imported the recipe into Beer Smith and I believe the kit might be intended for a system with an efficiency of something in the low 70's I am still waiting to hear back from MoreBeer on this so if your system is higher you might have to make some adjustments. Over all its a good kit, i had a side by side taste test and my buddies were impressed with the kit vs the commercial product.

Great stuff - have not compared directly to the original, but wow those hops are fruity. Smells great. Tastes great.

I wanted an easy IPA I could turn around quickly. I ordered online for delivery, so I went with the Cellar Science Cali dry yeast too. Fermented at 75 degrees and was able to crash temp and keg on the 9th day. A very drinkable IPA from day one, but is getting better now that the mosaic hops are mellowing a little. Don't forget to sparge a little extra for that 90 minute boil.

Mine came out a little higher OG/ABV because I squeezed the grains in my mash tun at the end of the sparge. I followed everthing else to the T, cold crashed, then closed pressure transferred the beer to the keg. It's been in the keg about 3-4 weeks and it just keeps getting better and better by the day. I'll def brew this kit again, minus squeezing the grains ..hahaha.

My first glass was very disappointing. Thought something had gone wrong during the brew. The hop aroma wasn't there and too malt forward. I decided to give it more time in the keg (1 month) and glad I did. The beer is still not as clear as I would have liked and It doesn't have the hop finish of the commercial version but it is good drinker.

Came out perfect. Very close to Fresh Squeezed

Nice brew that I will make again.
