Can Fresh Aluminum Beer Cans | Black | 330ml/11.1 oz. | Case of 300

    Description

    Easily take your beer anywhere while keeping it protected from UV!

    • Each case contains 300 cans and lids which is enough for about 25 gallons of beer
    • Compatible with the Cannular Can Seamer when used with 330ml table spacer (CAN103)
    • BPA free liner

    Aluminum cans offer 100% protection from UV and other wavelengths of light that are harmful to beer. There's still great debate surrounding whether cans or bottles are better at keeping beer fresh, but if done correctly, cans are theoretically the superior option. When a crown cap is crimped onto a bottle, the lining of the cap can form an imperfect seal on the bottle, allowing small amounts of oxygen in, as well as small amounts of CO2 out. Over time this can result in oxidation of the beer and lost carbonation. Seamed cans form a much better seal, which can prevent these issues

    Aside from better protection, aluminum cans are undoubtedly the safest option for sharing and enjoying your homebrew. Bring your canned creations tailgating, camping, boating, or crack a few open poolside without the worry of broken glass!

    To use these cans with the Cannular Can Seamer you will also need the CAN103 table spacer.

    • One case is enough for roughly five 5-gallon batches of beer

    Please note that empty aluminum cans are very delicate, and up to 5% of the cans are likely to be dented or damaged in transit. If the cans were packed in a more protective (more expensive) cardboard box, the cost per can would be more expensive than simply having some dented/sacrificial cans arrive.

        I prefer the 12oz vs the 16oz. But the bigger advantage is can over bottle. Canning is a little sloppy but I have not had a problem with these cans and look forward to many more uses with these. Cans so far have proven adequate to store my beverage and I can easily transport them to any venue. Now I need to find a way to label them.

        Will these cans work with the All American 1930 Sealer?

        I highly doubt it. Beer can lids have a very special two part mechanism which seals the end to the can. Called first and second operation. The first starts crimping the end around the end and the second curls it even further. You would for sure need a sealer specific to beer cans. Such as a Cannular or Ockober. Good luck!

        Do the cans need to be rinsed with StarSan before using?

        I always sanitize any container receiving the beer so I wouldn't do any different with cans. Don't want to take a chance and its pretty easy to do. I can't say if they NEED to be but I'd rather not wonder.

        Can you use these with beers using nitro/co2 mix?

        Never tried it but so long as you can control the foam you should be good!

        Sure it will seal any thing you put in it. If you had one-third can of nitro head when you can the foam will be gone and you will have less than a full can. Try to keep as much of the gas in the beer.
