Basic tool for fermonster that works. Didn’t think I needed one until I did. Could be built a little heavier. Would recommend.
Well this makes things easier.
This tool works great. So easy to open a stuck fermenter.
This is universal for all the Fermonsters...no more struggles with the lid when it is time to clean!
Handy tool for brewing 3rd
Before purchasing this opener, I had problem removing the lid after a 3 months fermentation, especially due to the soft texture of the bottle. This tool just makes it easier to do so.
With the FerMonster, the top does tend to be difficult to unscrew when fermentation is complete, but this tool makes it easy. I would recommend it with every FerMonster purchase.

Great, item arrived as promised.
The lid opener tool is helpful!!!
A just incase tool for the brewer's tool box.
Wort is sticky. When it gets on the threads of your carboy it makes it difficult to get the top off. This makes it easy even after aggressive fermentation
Opener makes it much easier to get the lid off.
Works great. I wish I had bought this years ago
It arrived just in time. I had a lid that was stuck and I needed it to get It off.
The first few batches with the fermentor, I was struggling to open the wort-fused lid for cleaning. This opener made opening a cinch. Much appreciated.
Works great for removing lid, a must when brewing.
Without the lid opener, getting the kids off can be a challenge. This opener makes it easy.
Pretty much a must have to get your lid off when dry hopping etc, or have a big pair of pliers handy
This may not seem important but if you use Fermonster carboys then eventually you'll screw a lid on too tight and this will come in handy.
Not as heavy duty as I thought it would be but it works well.
I previously used a big channel lock which worked but this is so much easier
I wish I was burly enough to open the FerMonster without this guy, but it does the job perfectly. Very happy I went ahead and grabbed one.
For a couple extra bucks, I decided to buy this when I got my 3 gallon ported Fermonster. I was not sure if it'd be worth it. But it turned out to be very helpful. The indents in this opener fit in the grooves on the Fermonster lid, making it very easy to open the Fermonster even after fermenting. I'm guessing the pressure changes during fermentation which can create a bit of a vacuum and make it difficult to take off the lid. This solves it. It's cheap and helpful. Good buy in my book.
Amazing how the Fermonster lids are impossible to remove. Doesn't matter if I put a small amount of keg lube on the gasket before using the lid, when it's time to remove the lid, the lid will not come off.Enter this tool. Makes it easy to remove a stubborn Fermonster lid.
Don't use this to try an tighten down the lids. You'll crack the lids. If you're having sealing issues, put the lid on the container while it's upside down. That seems to do the best to prevent the o-ring from popping out.Of course - this requires the container to be empty. Only use this to remove the caps.
Great tool ! Highly recommended ! You may not think you need one , but you'll be glad you have it .
I’m glad this was added to this mfg products. The lid can be difficult to remove by hand particularly if any sweet juice is on the seal.
Just the trick for easy opening my fermonsters. If you have fermonsters then you must have one of these
This makes removing lids a breeze
Makes opening fermonster lids so much easier, great value
The fermenters are great, but do have a tendency to stick. even with this you have to find a way to hold the fermenter (without squeezing it) and turn. better than trying to do it by hand
