shipped and received in very timely manner. product worked as advertised. works well transferring hot (200+ deg.) liquids where plastic canes won't. one tip... wear a glove to hold it when transferring hot liquids... it gets too hot to hold otherwise.

I use this for bottling kombucha in one-gallon batches. It's a bit of over-kill, but it works great, now that I've got the hang of it. First time, I had beginner's luck; it worked like a charm, even though it made a hole in my scobie (which healed within two weeks before processing the next batch). The second time, while trying to save my scobie, I banged the edge of the glass vat & broke it after bottling only half the batch. Oh well, no big deal - we lost only two quarts. The third time, I got smart and removed the scobie to a glass bowl while using the siphon, and it worked like a charm. This is obviously made for emptying kegs with gallons of beer rather than a gallon at a time, but I made it work after getting tired of crappy plastic siphons that keep breaking. It's kind of fun, too. If I ever decide to increase production, this siphon will serve me even better than it already does.

Worked flawlessly and built like a tank!

The good: A high quality racking cane that will last a very long time with good care. Easy to use and clean.The limitations: Small amounts of hop material, Trub or slurry will clog this cane up very quickly. If you lose your siphon in the last 20% of racking it is impossible to restart.I like this cane and I will continue to use it, but I will always keep a pump style siphon on hand as a back up.

I've owned several of the poly cane pumps over the years. While they work fine, the plastic does become brittle over time ... both the cane and the pump cylinder have broken requiring replacement. The stainless steel cane eliminates this issue completely and the pump cylinder piece is not even a factor given the built-in jiggler mechanism. Awesome improvement!

Works okay - takes a little to get working and the siphon can break if hops or fruit get stuck on the glass bead. Also to get it going , you are agitating the beer mixing the yeast in the bottom.

Easy to use and easy to clean. I noticed no air bubbles while transferring like I used to see when using my autosiphon. It even came with appropriately sized tubing.

Works well once it gets going. What worked for me was to crimp the end of the hose while I "jiggled" the Jiggler. When the hose filled up I released the crimped end of the hose in the bucket while continuing to "jiggle". Once the hose was filled with wort it worked great and was fast!

I had an old plastic autosiphon that broke. I decided that I wanted something stainless steel. I saw the video of the east jiggler and bought it. I used it for the first time this past weekend, and it transferred the beer from my fermenter to a corny keg in about 45 seconds. The only downside I experienced was trying to get the tubing onto the jiggler. The silicone tubing kept slipping as I tried to get it on, and the end of the jiggler turned out to be quite sharp - I gave myself a couple of cuts on my hand when it slipped. I’ll be more careful next time. But I highly recommend it.

This siphon works quickly and is easy to use. Fits in standard buckets and carboys. The quality of the tubing is excellent as well. I love it and wish I bought it years ago,

Works as advertised. Very little aeration. Easy to clean. Hose could be a little longer

Not easy to start the flow, too short to reach the bottom of a 23 litre carboy comfortably, and have no "cup" at the bottom to prevent the sediment from being drawn in. It's also quite heavy when full and hard to hold against the side of the carboy (also because they are short) to get all the wine out. To start these, you have to jiggle vigorously 6-8 times and be careful not to smack it into your glass carboy.

Warning: Don't be dumb and use this in glass. I thought I could avoid hitting the glass, but I was wrong and it shattered.This works extremely well especially for getting hot wort out of a kettle.

This worked exactly as specified and I am glad to have this easily used product instead of the cumbersome tubes and siphons.

We highly recommend this syphon for winery/brewery needs. When a small transfer is needed, this tool aids without the need to clean a pump. It's easy to open the jiggler portion to clean it, and stainless steel is the sanitary way to go in a winery.

Purchased this to rack carboys of homemade wine. This is very easy to use, and clean.

Why did I use a plastic auto siphon...ever? This thing is awesome.

I used to use the piston ones, but this is WAY simpler and works as advertised. If it doesn't start right away, tilt the bucket/fermenter just a little and it will kick right off. Love that it's all stainless too.

When I opened the box I was very impressed with the quality of the construction. There were no instructions inside so I watched the You Tube at the URL on the box - it looked pretty easy. I made several attempts to get it going to no avail. I went back to the You Tube video to see if I missed anything but, no help. I tried several more times and no luck. I decided to try it one more time before sending it back and after several attempts it actually started working. I stopped it and tried again - and after several attempts I got it to work again. I guess it takes plenty of practice to get the technique down. Once it is working it runs great. I plan to keep it.

I bought this product because I was tired of breaking my plastic pump-style auto siphons. I did have (and still do) my eye on the all stainless pump auto siphon on the market but shied away because of the cost.This Jiggler hit a nice pricepoint and works well. I like that it comes apart for cleaning and that the tube is heat resistant. The only critique that I have is that you need to be a little careful when jiggling to start the siphon that you don't hit it too hard on the sides of a glass carboy. Not sure if it would break or not but just something that made me worried while I was doing it. A word to the wise, be sure to clean the inside well (1/2" long tube brush & soap) before use. Mine was quite dirty with left over material from the manufacturing process.

Solid and durable. Easy to take apart and clean and sanitize. Takes a little practice to get a good flow. Would be another star if it came with its own clip!!!

Pretty easy to clean, have to unscrew and breakdown a few pets to get it properly cleaned won’t get scratched or crack like plastic siphon.Be sure to take a line-Brush through the metal before use...inside was rusty, had machined metal particles and dirt... scrubbed for about 15 min until it scrubbed clean and flashlight inspection of inside looked clean

I have used this cane twice now. It works great as advertised. I used it racking 5 1/2 gallons of beer and 6 gallons of wine into a carboy. It starts easy and the flow rate is great. It is also very easy to clean. I used my 1/2” dip tube brush. The 5’ tube that came with it is good quality. I only wish it were 6’. From my countertop to the floor to a bucket or carboy, it tends to pull out or splash too much starting the siphon. An extra foot would me great!
