I haven't brewed my first batch yet but I am really impressed with the set up for the price. My only criticism is the fermonster and the brew kettle could be a bit more sturdy but as I said, for the money, this kit rocks!! I am super stoked to brew again and 10000% recommend this kit to anyone who wants to get started!

Wanted to understand what I would "want to grow into" after I understood brewing and had started. Did lots of research and decided to start with this one. Very glad I did. The fermonster is very very useful. Super easy to use and not worried about shattering glass. The equipment is nice quality and provides lot of things that can continue to be used as I progress in skill like the three hop bags. I recommend purchasing this one if you can vs. the cheaper version.

I am in the middle of fermenting my first beer with the kit right now, a Hefeweizen. It’s fermenting with an immersion chiller, and I gotta say It’s super easy to check your gravity, without exposing the beer to too much oxygen. I am predicting with the proper care and storage this system that includes a stainless steel pot, fermenter, and a bottling bucket will last quite a few batches. Thank you more beer, you make getting into this hobby easy.

This kit includes everything you need to make your first batch and you will save some money over buying all the pieces individually. The brewing kit you select will also come with a dry yeast, no need to buy it separately. I bought this alongside my Brewzilla and it was exactly what I needed to brew my first batch and start fermenting. Make sure to start collecting bottles or buy some as that is the only thing missing. I am using the 5 gal kettle included as a blow-off bucket half-filled with Star-San solution for my Heffe fermentation. Get tubbing that fits into the hole in the rubber bung for the Carboy, run it into the kettle, and then place something on top of the tube to keep it submerged, working perfectly.

It is a great starter kit. You get everything you need to make homebrew. Only thing missing is the racking cane. Quality kit and would recommend.

My grandson is very interested in craft and IPA beers. I purchased the Deluxe Home Brewing Kit as a Christmas gift for him. It was a gift that he was not expecting. He was very pleased and can't wait until he can start working on his first batch. He will do a pale ale first then either IPA or HEFE next.

It has everything you need to brew your first batch you just need bottles (I also used fizz drops). Watch youtube video for the instructions. IMHO 7 Gal kettle will be better for any starter kit. Love the beer! I didn't expect such excellent results.

Great product, easy to use.

My son and I brewed the American pale ale and it was very straight forward. can't wait until it is done and taste it. Instructions were very clear. The bottom of the hydrometer jar was broken and I called customer service. They sent a new one right out. So far, everything has been a very good experience.

The kit has everything you need to get started and have brewed a dozen batches with it since. Everything is still in great working order 9 months later. Found it on sale and was a great bang for the buck!

I think it is a very good kit. I only really have 2 things keeping me from giving it 5 stars, 1) They should let you pick your first mix instead of only giving you American Ale 2) The cook directions suck. More beer needs to realize that many people are buying this kit so they can get into making their own beer but have never done it. We need step-by-step instructions and cook times.

Bought this kit as a Christmas present for my husband and he can’t wait to start using it. He did tons of research before deciding which hike brew kit he wanted and this is the one he chose. There are so many things included in this kit!

Had my first cup this morning. I would say this is an easy and economical way to superior IPA! At the same time I ordered the Pompus Ass all grain kit, which is a little more involved, but I dumped the leftover grain in the lawn & the birds and even the stray cats in the neighborhood seem to love it. Cheers!

I wish I would have had the sense to buy this kit when I first started ! Everything you need to brew your own beer (recipe and instructions and ingredients included!). If you have been on the fence as to whether or not you should buy this kit, take my advice and buy it! You will be happy that you did.

I made the decision to go with this kit as it simply had everything I needed to get started back with home brewing. I love that both the fermenting keg as well as the bottling bucket have spigots; making it so much simpler to transfer the beer and to bottle. I have brewed my first full batch and am now waiting to bottle in 2 weeks.

This is a good kit to work with if you're just starting out, or if you're like me and getting back into home brewing after a 5-10 year break. The kit provides you with basic equipment / instructions to start your first recipe (this kit came with an American ale). Sky is the limit from here -- you can add more toys as you go, and experiment with different recipes. Give it a try.

I think the Deluxe brew starter came with everything I needed. Directions were pretty easy to follow. Batch is still in the fermenter and has another week to go before bottling. Can't wait for the results then buy another recipe ingredient and do it again.

The kit has everything you need to get started, and most of the items you'll keep using as you advance. The kettle is definitely one items that you'll upgrade. Buying it all together this way basically gets you a discount off buying separately.It misses the fifth star because of a couple things. There's no instructions on the two spigots you get. Took a little while to figure out which one goes on the bucket and fermonster. Then you have to figure out what side the gasket goes on. Instruction would have been extremely helpful here.It would also be nice if they gave you a choice of the brew kit that came with it.The fermonster so far is great. My only concern is the spigot being so low and potential issues of draining out some of the trub when racking to the bottling bucket. I can see with a high gravity beer that will probably be an issue.

Resuming this hobby after 20 years. This kit was a nice combination of things I need to get started and a few extras that were just nice to have on hand. Very fast shipment. First recipe kit is ready for bottling. Very satisfied.

Had everything I needed to get started with home brewing. Included recipe kit was easy and straightforward. Would recommend for anyone just starting out.

I've only used it once and it has everything that I need it. The only problem I have is cleaning the yeast out of the fermenter it is very difficult and it recommend not using a scrub pad.
