I've made a number of Pale ale and IPA beers and the high alpha content is perfect especially when trying to make high SG beers (that tend to run a bit sweet)

They came fresh and ready.

This batch was a little on the grassy side

Best hop to use when bancing all those fruity flavors of other hop varieties

Columbus is a great all rounder if you want to use it in an American recipe, from bettering additions to whirlpool or dry hopping, Columbus imparts a great dank, old sock aroma that is unique to American hops.

these hops are a regular ingredient in most of my beers. I use them for bittering and sometimes flavor. it was a no-brainer when I saw them on sale for 10 bucks a pound.

They're CTZs. If you don't know about them already, you need to explore. Very versatile. I've used them as bittering, flavoring, aroma and dry hops, depending on the recipe.

Gotta love some CTZ. I enjoy using for both bittering and flavor additions. My results with this hop have been more floral, sticky, almost grassy than fruity, but that's just me. One of my go to hops for clean bittering with a good presence.

Great value and quality product.

These are some pretty "frisky" hops, but, are very versatile. Can be used as a bittering, flavor, or aroma hop. Be careful if use them as a bittering hop, a little goes a long way. The flavor profile is not as "citrusy" as some of the other high alpha acid varieties, like centennial.

I used these hops as a part of a clone for a Samuel Adams Latitude 48 clone. They produced an outstanding aroma and bittering.

This particular hop variety is absolutely perfect for a single hopped IPA style brew. It's bittering characteristics are second to none, yet it's flavoring and aroma qualities are equally on par. It's slightly oily, which gives it a great mouth feel in higher alcohol content IPA's which can feel a bit dry.It's pure citrusy aroma and taste is perfect if you don't like that slightly earthy taste and aroma some of the C class hops give off. This is my favorite hop for IPA's, and it makes a great bittering hop only for very malt forward brews.

I used this hop to bitter my version of a West Coast IPA with great results.

I use this hop a lot for bittering my IPA's and Stouts. It's slightly aggressive as a bittering hop. It also is great for aroma with notes of citrus and some pine.

I prefer the packaging that morebeer uses over other suppliers. Never had a quality issue with hops from them.
