    The NukaTap FC is the world's only forward-sealing flow control tap that can use an auto close spring.  By inserting the spring between the flow control device and NukaTap shuttle, the tap will automatically close when you let go of the handle. This is perfect for customers who may not be diligent enough to remember to completely turn off the tap after each pour. Or for those with little kids or pesky cats that knock everything around! This very inexpensive spring can save you from emptying an entire keg and then losing a whole bottle of gas.

    Please note: this spring is not compatible with the standard non-flow control NukaTap faucet or the NukaTap Flow Control G2.

        If you have a NukaTap, this should be a required purchase or included in the package. Have you ever accidentally opened a tap and had beer go all over the floor before you realized what happened? This solves that issue and gives peace of mind, especially with a tower/kegerator that isn't always in view.

        D1587 is the correct spring for the flow control faucet. D1212 is the correct spring for the other Intertap/Nukatap faucets.

        No the Nukatap is the only flow control tap that can use a self closing spring

        No this only works on the NukaTap Flow Control faucets. With that said there was a guy who said that he was able to use a keg poppet spring on his Intertap flow control and made it work. Do a Youtube Search for Intertap flow control self return spring. The video is in Hebrew but he shows you how he did it.

        How do you recommend I install the spring without pinching or cutting the rubber seal washer?

        I didn't need to pinch or cut any washers. I unscrewed the tap and the spring just goes between the tap and the "torpedo" shaped plastic part. If it doesn't look right make sure you check the tap's model. This spring is only compatible with the relatively newer Nuka taps with a flow control
