This wine is an excellent choice for a cab! It was my second batch of wine that I made and I could kick my booty for no having started to make wine sooner. My new go to vice!

I am very satisfied with the delivery and the kit came with everything I needed. The wine hasn’t had time to age but it already tastes better than most of the wines I’ve bought of the shelf. I think it’s an excellent value and a great hobby.

Instructions says "if your kit contains oak chips OR granular oak to add to primary." My kit came with 30g granular and 45g chips. Do I add both or only one of the two options?
I added both left in the primary for over a month and still couldn't taste oak.. That is to say that you won't overdo it by using both.
I added both. Bottling this week but everything looks really good.
I added both at the same time. I used a brand new knee high stocking (which I sanitized) and put both chips and granular oak inside of it and tied a knot in it. This way I got the flavor from the oak but it mostly stayed in the stocking so it was easier when it came time to transfer the wine. That’s when I removed the stocking and threw it all away!
Add both. My kit turned out great.
