        How does it "back flush" i.e. to where are the hose ends connected? I pump hot PBW solution through my Therminator Chiller for 20-30 minutes...one direction or both. Does this product make cleaning the Therminator easier? ...or do a better job?

        This is a garden-hose to 1/2" NPT connector so you can use your hose to power-flush the wort-side of the Therminator. NOTE: I don't use this. I have quick-disconnects on the wort side so I just reverse-pump the hot PBW through using the same pump/hoses I used to pump the wort in the first place. Blichmann suggested (I asked them about taking it apart for thorough cleaning -- no can do) back-flow warm (140-160°F) PBW for 20 minutes. I typically do that then front-flow water then sanitizer to leave everything ready-to-use next time. Does this product make cleaning easier? I think it's the solution for people who have the Therminator permanently affixed (ex: no quick-releases) so it's just a fast way to use garden hose pressure to blow it out. IMO and all that.
