        Quick and easy carbonation

I was not sure how difficult it would be to setup with all the parts but it turned out to be super easy. I was able to get my first carbonation done in about 1.5 hours from box open till cleaned and back in the box. The results were perfect with a 45 min run time with 14 pounds at 39 degrees. Yes it is a bit costly but the results are outstanding considering similar results would take 10-14 days

        Works Great, but...

I had to knock off two stars because I guess Blichman made some cuts and no longer sends their products in the nice branded hard shell cases. Totally not a deal breaker for me but a company of their size and industry respect should make that clear to long time customers who expect a certain level of quality from them. The improvements they made since the first quick carb are fantastic, this product is still worth the purchase regardless of no case and great to have around when you just want to get something carbbed up quick.

        What a tool!

I bought the Blichmann QuickCarb months ago and they finally came back into stock. My main use is carbonated water. I like to have a 5 gallon Corny keg with water in my kegerator at all times. This unit will carbonate a keg in about 40 minutes to 30psi. The only problem I had was that the water would sneek up the gas line between kegs if I don't close off the gas valve, so remember to do so. I've also carbonated a hard cider I made and am going to try with a wine next.

        Great for our Nano!

We own a small nano brewery (1bbl) and this little beast can carb our kegs and we don’t waste a bunch of CO2 to headspace in our brite tank. We can half of the beer and can condition, so this tool is really helpful for our really small operation.

        Great unit

This thing is nice. Use the carb chart, add ~2 psi to the recommended pressure/temp and you'll be golden.

        Excellent

This is one of the best pieces of equipment I have purchased. Makes kegging and carbonation control easy.

        As advertised and then some

I bought this handy beer gadget to quick carb beer and it works as intended. I let it run for 45 minutes and it carbed my beer nicely. Was it 100%? Nope. But was drinkable immediately and within a day or two it under pressure, my beer was fully carbed. Now for the good stuff. After watching this thing take beer out of a keg, carb it and return it to the keg, I figured why not filter the beer before I carb it? So I attached a cheap household water filter and added a 3 micron BevBright filter and holy smoke, worked like a charm. I now filter right from my fermenters into a serving keg, cold crash, carb and serve. This thing is awesome and has removed a few steps from the brew process.

        Highly Recommended

This thing really works well. I have carbonated stouts, pales and lagers with the the quick carb and it has given me perfectly carbonated beer every time. I would definitely recommend it if you want your freshly-kegged beer ready to drink in under an hour.

Perfect for Small Run Barrel Aged Beers

We bought this to carb our small run barrel-aged beers that wouldn’t easily be carbed in a Brite or FV. Added the sankey kit and a little pipe insulation to keep the light off the beer. Overall, very happy with how this performed and has saved us weeks of trying to force carb otherwise.

        Unique problem solver.

If you're here, you know what you're looking at. It's a device which flows beer across an aerator stone pressurize with CO2. Does it work? Yes.The quality of the parts is superb. It comes with everything needed to attach to your CO2 bottle post regulator. Don't have any appreciable pressure in your keg. otherwise stuff starts flowing the wrong direction toward the regulator.

        Blichman Quick carb is correct

I was so tired of force carbonation, waiting a couple of days to see if the level of C02 was what I liked. I tried the rocking the keg method, but was just never really satisfied with the results, it was hit and miss. After my first 3 beers using the quick carb system and getting familiar with how it works, easily one of the best purchases I have made. Keg the beer, refrigerate to 35*, pull it out and carb. Your ready to drink in 20-30 minutes. For clean up, run some PBW, starsan and rinse.

        No more waiting to carb!

This thing does what it advertises. If you are like me and lack the patience to wait for your beer to carb, this is for you. It's easy to use and super easy to clean. Other brewers have complained about the connections leaking, I had no issue with this. A+

        Invaluable tool for small brewers

As a nanobrewer currently using plastic conicals I can’t carb in the fermentors as I’d like to. And leaving headspace in kegs is a royal pain in the rear, and shaking a half barrel keg to carbonate is downright dangerous.Enter the quickcarb! All of five minutes spent to chop off the flare connectors and attach some tailpieces, then hooked up to a regular sanke coupler and off to the races. This will carb a keg to a T, check the actual beer temp, cross reference your volumes/pressure/temperature chart, dial in the co2 pressure and leave well alone. Forty five minutes gets me a sixtel finished, about ninety minutes for a full half barrel.

        It's worth it!

Very well packaged and is a quality product. Instructions are rather easy to follow. Based on other reviews, the issues with the high pressure fittings must have been addressed. Regardless, I took some pliers and squeezed down on them a bit more just to be sure. No leaks. Easy to sanitize and clean. Take good care of the flare fittings for the CO2 line though as they easily fall out of the line and could easily get lost. Beer was perfectly carbonated using the provided chart and in less than an hour. I recommend chilling your beer to serving temp before carbonating. Still works at room temp, it's just less pressure and easier once chilled. Worth the $$.

        Super handy, does nitro too!

There was a bit of trial and error and we replaced all the hoses to be a bit more sturdy. We have found that carb is done when one stops seeing bubbles go through the line. We have a gas blender for beer gas mix and we've tee'd off a line to do one-off nitro beers. Super handy tool once you get it sorted out, and its a breeze to clean.

Needs better overall clamp styles and hose.

Nice design, iffy hose set up. Had to replace leaky hose clamps and cheap plastic compression type connections with good quality hose and clamps. After that it’s great.
