Great beer. I will post photos after it's down being carbed. This beer remind me of "Sierra Nevada Hazy IPA" great taste and will be making more. I love the citrus flavor. Beer also taste great for being an extract kit.

Great recipe which produced a very true IPA. Beer is right at a month old now and seems to have reached peak flavor. I have brewed morebeer pliny clone 3 times now and it has been my go to brew. This one may become the next goto. I added about 1 1/2 pounds of light dried malt extract and dry hopped with 2 ounces of whole cone cascade. This raised my og to 1.072.I double pitched safale 05 dried right on top of the cooled wort. It has a some alcohol on the nose. Pretty sure this one will be bought again soon.

The profile on this beer is OUTSTANDING. I normally brew all-grain but was playing catch up on my brewing so I opted to give this a shot. End result was a great tasting IPA that was very easy to drink. All my fellow brewer friends loved it as well.

Think this was our second brew, came out nice. Not really hoppy (easily remedied) , but it worked as a summer beer as is. For what it's worth, my initial tasting notes say: tasting was good and Carmel/malty with slight bittering hop flavor (should probably be considered an Ale not an IPA), but as it warms the magnum hops come forward.

This beer is easy to brew and the results are fantastic. Great hoppy flavor and this always goes fast.

This is a great IPA. I added a little extra hops and changed up the timings to modify it. I highly recommend it. I ordered two more!

Not thin or watered-down as you might suspect from the term American in the product title.

The first batch that I have brewed on my own. I used a 3 1/2 gallon brew pot. This IPA turned out awesome! I will be brewing this one again for sure.

This is the 2nd IPA I have brewed, and it is my favorite beer I've brewed to date. I'm a hophead, so I added a little extra Chinook and Citra hops during the boil and for dry hopping. Just purchased my second kit. I have a feeling I'll be brewing this for years to come. Well done, MB!!

Very solid west coast style IPA. Cascade hops give it that wonderful grapefruity flavor. Bitterness is not real high, so I've been able to share this with my non-IPA-lovin' friends, and they've actually liked it. Ton of hop flavor in this one, hard to mess it up. I like it equal to the MB Columbus IPA.

I have brewed 15 different batches this past six months and by far, this IPA is the best. I followed the recipe to the t, than bottled half and kegged the rest. I live in Tokyo where IPAs are nonexistent, but all my Japanese friends and family love this beer. Let's say the bottles are gone and they are knocking on my door to tap open that keg. Buy it and you won't regret it, but don't share it with anyone.

Just tapped the keg on this beer today to start the 2013 NCAA Football season. The Cascade hop flavor is very good. I will be getting another batch in the future. Very easy to brew. Left in the primary fermenter 2 weeks and 1 week in the keg to carbonate.

First ingredient kit I've bought from MB. It was on clearance when i got it so it was a great price. I have made all grain beers that didn't taste nearly as good as this. It's full bodied and mild in terms of bitterness. I agree that someone that doesn't have a thing for IPA's could find this beer enjoyable...The only thing I did different than the recipe was that I used 1oz of whole Cascades grown in my neighbor's yard for a 5 day dry hop in secondary. Highly recommended!

First kit from morebeer. Good flavor and a wonderful aroma. The kit was very fresh and cant beat the price. Shipping took awhile but received within the time that was stated on the site.

We have friends who cannot stand the bitterness of IPA's. They affectionately call it "Skunk Piss", so when we offered a beer we called 'Brookside Skunk Piss' (this kit brewed w/o modification) they were skeptical....AND to their surprise they enjoyed it! We did too, We will repeat it!

Second brew I've made. Late extract method on this one. First extract 60 minute boil had noticeable extract tang flavor. This one,no extract tang. Did 1oz magnums at 60, 1oz each cascade/centennial at 10, 1oz each cascade/centennial at 1. OG 1.060, FG 1.010.Dry hopped 2oz centennials in primary for 5 days. Two weeks in primary than straight to bottle. One week bottle tasting was sweet cantaloupe with good citrus aroma. Flavors are fading now after 6 weeks from brew day. Beer became noticeably drier as it aged. Still delicious. Lost over a gallon to dry hops. Threw pellets straight into primary. Crazy head retention and lacing.

Great brew with a fruity finish, a little too hoppy for my taste but good none the less!!
