    Description

    In order to get the cleanest tasting neutral spirit, carbon filtering is a must. Filtering your spirit through activated carbon will remove impurities, such as fusel oils, that give the spirit a harsh taste or smell. This polishing process is used by distilleries when they want to achieve the cleanest, most neutral spirit possible. This kit comes with all the pieces needed to build a simple funnel-style carbon filter.

        Need better and WRITTEN instructions, not only video.

        Love it when it finally worked. Your instructions are very vague and should be available in written form, not everyone is computer savvy. I had to look at other users reviews to find out you should use HOT water to clean and prepare the charcoal. After a bout of total frustration, my wife researched and found this solution. You should edit this. Otherwise, now it works great. It can very close to being returned.

        Flush it with HOT water.

        It works great. I'd def get the mounts.... I didn't and it was anpain to keep upright. The one piece of advice I wish they'd post was let HOT water sit in it for 5-10 minutes to clean the carbon. I flushed it 50 times and was still getting carbon out. One rinse with hot water and it's been clear ever since.
