This kveik yeast strain ferments quickly at higher temperatures with superb flocculation. Produces a clean flavor profile with hints of orange peel & citrus. Every batch is PCR tested to ensure quality. Dosage: One sachet is enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2–3 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly. Direct Pitch or Rehydrate: VOSS yeast is designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no oxygenation required in the initial fermentation. Our aerobic growth process makes this possible by creating dry yeast with high viability and high sterol levels. VOSS yeast is pre-loaded with essential nutrients to ensure a successful, complete fermentation. While not required, some brewers prefer to rehydrate yeast. To hydrate yeast, first, sanitize the yeast brick and scissors. Use 10 grams of sterilized tap water between 85-95°F (29-35°C) mixed with 0.25 grams of FermStart per gram of yeast. Sprinkle yeast on the water. Allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 20 minutes, then swirl. Use small amounts of wort to adjust to within 10°F (6°C) of wort temperature before pitching. Ferment between 68-104°F (20-40°C). Optimum Fermentation Temp: 68-104°F Flocculation: Medium-High Alochol Tolerance: 16% ABV (LalBrew® Voss 12%) Attenuation: 75-80% Similar Strains: WLP520, OYL061 Gluten-free CellarScience Yeast: For years liquid yeast has been sold as the higher quality option but times are changing. WEST COAST is a refined evolution of the classic American ale strain engineered for modern brewing while honoring its proven roots. It delivers the same clean, dependable performance as CALI, with just a trace of fruit character that lends a quiet depth to the final beer. When fermented under pressure up to 12 PSI, WEST COAST can be pushed warmer to help reduce turnaround time while producing an even cleaner profile with its subtle fruit character pushed further into the background. This nuance stays well in the background, complementing rather than competing with hops or malt. Ideal as a house strain, WEST COAST can refresh a Flagship recipe or anchor a new one, offering robust, reliable fermentations every time. Designed for simplicity, it can be pitched directly into wort no oxygenation or rehydration required.
Flocculation: Medium to High
Fermentation: Range: 59-72ºF (15-22°C)
Pressure-Ready: Performs great under pressure up to 12 PSI
Attenuation: Approximately 75–84%

Dosage:
One sachet is enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2–3 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly.
Like all CellarScience yeast, WEST COAST offers professional-grade performance for both homebrewers and craft brewers at an unbeatable value. If you love the clean versatility of CALI but want a touch more character, West Coast is your next go-to strain.
MUNICH delivers crisp, clean flavor with minimal ester production
Recommended for Pilsner, Helles, Dunkel, Märzen, Bock
Designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no pre-oxygenation before pitching required
Pressure-Tolerant: Ferments under pressure up to 12 PSI (0.8 bar) with clean results
Ferment between 50-64°F
A performance-selected isolate from a classic Weihenstephan lager strain, MUNICH is particularly well suited to malt-focused lager styles where fermentation character should remain restrained. Its softer, rounder profile allows malt character to remain prominent, with bread, cracker, toast, and other malt-derived flavors carrying through without the yeast competing for attention. Its attenuation profile helps preserve a slightly fuller, smoother presentation while maintaining a balanced lager finish.
MUNICH excels at traditional cold fermentation, and it remains remarkably clean and stable when fermented warmer under pressure, allowing brewers to push temperature upward while maintaining restrained lager character. That wider fermentation range and pressure tolerance make it equally useful for traditional lager fermentation and more efficiency-driven production schedules.
Crisp, clean flavor with minimal ester production
Fermentation Range: 50–64°F (10–18°C) — clean even at the upper end

Rhizomes are now in stock and orders are being fulfilled. If you haven't ordered your rhizomes yet, this is your last chance till next season!
9.5-11.5% AA - Grows well in all climates. Susceptible to Downy Mildew.
The aroma/flavor is definitely American in nature with pungent aromas and pronounced flavor. Similar to, and blends well with Cascade, but without the grapefruit flavors of Cascade. Great higher alpha bittering hop.
Rhizomes should be planted immediately for best results. If your area is still experiencing frost then you can plant them in a planter indoors until it is safe to transplant outside. The first years crop will generally be smaller than subsequent years. Since these are live plants, we cannot guarantee they will grow, so we recommend buying two of each type to help ensure their success.
Shipping Restrictions:
Due to agricultural restrictions, we can only ship rhizomes to addresses that are in the United States, excepting Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and the counties of Bonner and Kootenai in Idaho. Unfortunately, we cannot ship these to international locations including APO/FPO addresses.
Maximize Finished Yield: Reduces beer loss and waste by replacing bulky hop pellets with a highly concentrated liquid extract.
Intense Hop Aromatics: Delivers variety-specific, "survivable" hop compounds for a powerful aromatic boost in every batch.
Versatile Cold-Side Use: Designed for easy pouring into the fermenter during active or post-fermentation dry hopping and whirlpool additions.
Superior Efficiency: Streamlines logistics with a compact footprint and high replacement rates—up to 100:1 compared to T-90 pellets.
HyperBoost®, formerly YCH 701, is a concentrated hop oil extract produced through an innovative CO2 supercritical extraction process.
Intended to amplify hop aromatics and increase yield, HyperBoost excels at adding beautiful hop aroma anywhere pellets are normally used, including cold-side applications. HyperBoost is made from single-hop varieties to deliver variety-specific aroma boosts to your finished beer.
Chief Advantages:
Increased efficiency
Ease of use
Increased aroma
Less storage space needed
High concentrations of survivable compounds
Reduction of waste
How to Brew with HyperBoost?
HyperBoost® is designed to easily pour in your fermenter as a dry hop addition, adding an intense saturation of hop flavor to your finished beer. Most brewers choose to use HyperBoost during active fermentation, but it can also be added to the whirlpool. Using HyperBoost in place of traditional pellets can increase finished beer yield.
Kettle: HyperBoost is not intended for kettle additions. For early kettle and bittering additions, we recommend pellets or CO2 extract. DynaBoost® carries variety-specific oil and alpha acid content to the kettle and can be used as a late kettle addition.
Post-Boil / Whirlpool: For whirlpool use, brewers can replace up to 100% of pellets with HyperBoost. We suggest replacing T-90 pellet additions in the whirlpool at a rate of 50:1 by weight (20 g of HyperBoost to replace 1 kg T-90). Your brewery might choose to use more or less depending on beer style or overall goal.
Fermentation: HyperBoost can be used as an active or post-fermentation hop addition. Incorporate HyperBoost anywhere in the process you would typically use pellets.
Dry Hopping: For dry hop additions, YCH recommends using HyperBoost for 25-50% of the addition and adding T-90 or Cryo® pellets for the remainder of the hop charge. As a dry hop, we suggest starting with a replacement rate of 100:1 HyperBoost to T-90 pellets by weight (10 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90) to 125:1 (8 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90).

Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets
Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets
Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter
Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer!
Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil.
Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material.
Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier.

Centennial hops are a balanced bittering and aromatic hop with a decidedly American nature and uniquely pungent flavor. An intense citrus aroma with pronounced lemon notes also gives off some floral qualities that blend well with West Coast IPAs, American Pale Ales, and other hop-forward styles. Centennial hops are sometimes referenced as a super charged Cascade without the grapefruit flavors. Centennial hops also blend well with Chinook and Columbus hops.

Alpha-Beta Ratio: 2.1 – 3.3

Calcium carbonate is used to reduce the acidity of wine. It does not require cold-stabilization to force complete precipitation, as does potassium carbonate. However, calcium carbonate is more likely to affect the flavor than potassium carbonate, and may take a few months to fully precipitate. One-quarter ounce (about 4 teaspoons) of calcium carbonate reduces acidity in one gallon by about 0.25%. Foaming may occur because of the production of CO2. Do not use more than one ounce per gallon. Wait 24 hours and rack wine. Calcium carbonate is also used in beer to increase the temporary hardness of water. Traditionally used in English stouts, pale ales and bitters.

Provides warm, cracker, and biscuit aroma with a pronounced malt character, ideal for malt-forward ales
Use as up to 100% of your grain bill
2.7 L - Chevallier was the first ever selected landrace for malting and it’s what Crips's founders Fred and George Smith would have malted back in 1870. Chevallier reigned supreme for over 100 years as the dominant barley variety in England from the 1820’s to 1920’s. It was propagated all over the world and was being grown in Australia commercially as recently as 1960. It formed the backbone of many Victorian ales and in its revived form, it's won awards for its depth of flavor.
Crisp Chevallier is characterized by warm, cracker and biscuit aroma with a full flavor. Compared to many other modern barleys its aroma and flavor are quite pronounced. Suitable for any malt-forward ale, or where increased malt character is needed to balance a high hop load.

Although it is listed as one of the original six red grapes of Bordeaux, Carménère is all but impossible to find in France today. After a phylloxera plague in the mid-19th century, the vines were nearly all destroyed in Europe and presumed extinct. But the grape lived on, unbeknownst to anyone, in the grape growing regions of Chile where some speculate it was mistaken for Merlot and thus unwittingly preserved over the last 150 years. Indeed the two grapes share a common ancestor and are strikingly similar in appearance. Commonly used as a blending grape, but as a varietal wine Carménère is known for its deep red color, gentle tannins, and fruit-forward character with earthy notes. Growing Carménère is all but unheard of in Bordeaux today, but the grape has thrived in the vineyards of Chile where it has become the country’s leading red grape. The resulting wine is a full-bodied, dry red with aromas and flavors of red fruit and berries, plum, and floral notes. Our Chile Carménère follows the classic description, characterized by flavors of raspberry, red cherry, and plum. Medium-bodied and dry with a moderate oak presence. This red wine weighs in at the higher end of the spectrum with an alcohol level of 13.5% by volume. This Carmenere wine kit includes medium toast French oak chips. Medium toast French oak is subtle and provides refined flavors of custard, chocolate, and spice. French oak in general is often used by winemakers when they want to increase the mouthfeel and complexity of a wine without stepping on or suppressing the fruit. The VineCo Estate Carménère is the perfect wine for those that enjoy the spice of life. Or maybe more specifically, those that enjoy spice in their meals. Carménère pairs wonderfully with dishes that have a kick. Lamb curry, spicy pork sausage, Chile con Carne—these mouth watering foods are great options to enjoy with a glass of this delicious red wine. Carménère shouldn’t only be poured alongside hot dishes, but if you’re looking for something to pair with a meal that raises your heart rate, you’ve found it here. If wines were personified by movie characters, Pinot Noir would be your Mrs. Robinson—mature and seductive. No wine evokes more sultry descriptions as Pinot Noir, often characterized as having a supple, silky texture and arousing earthy aroma. Sensual summarizations aside, Pinot Noir is considered one of the “founder varieties”. Its exact origins are unknown, but modern genetic study has revealed Pinot to be the parent of countless grape varieties including Chardonnay and Corvina, as well as hundreds of mutations of itself, including Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. Flavors and aromas are overwhelmingly fruit-forward—raspberry, plum, rhubarb, pomegranate, and strawberry—with subtle notes of earth and damp leaves. Burgundy, France enjoys the highest acclaim for its Pinot Noir, but this grape is no less renowned in Oregon and California in the U.S. and New Zealand in the southern hemisphere.
Of all the wines produced in Chile, Pinot Noir is perhaps the most celebrated within and without the country. The temperate climate and rich soil produce grapes that are more acidic and remarkably fresh, in turn making wine known for fruity notes, high acidity, and delicate tannins.
Our Chile Pinot Noir is dominated by red fruit flavors of strawberry and raspberry and underpinned by a slight vegetal character. A dry red wine with a medium body matched by a medium oak character with an alcohol content of 13% by volume. The Estate Pinot includes a single dose of blended origin, medium toast oak chips. Pinots are known for being complex with subtle oak. This blend adds mouthfeel and very subdued hints of spice.
The VineCo Estate Pinot Noir demands that it be sipped and savored. Do not drink it down like you might a common table wine. Approach with a subtle assuredness like you might if an attractive stranger caught your eye from across the room. Enjoy the deep, captivating flavors as if you’re getting to know this wine for the first time. For a dance at the dinner table, pair off with something that has a touch of spice like Kerala duck curry or Char siu pork.

Ambient Flowability: Effortlessly flows at room temperature for easy, hassle-free additions without pre-heating.
Increased Wort Yield: Boosts yield by up to 5% by significantly reducing trub and solid matter in the whirlpool.
Amplified Aromatics: Highly soluble extract designed to deliver concentrated, variety-specific hop character.
Logistical Efficiency: Streamlines operations by reducing shipping costs and requiring less cold storage space.
Formerly YCH 702, DynaBoost is an oil-enriched extract that flows effortlessly at ambient temperatures.
DynaBoost was crafted as a hassle-free whirlpool addition that amplifies aromatics through a concentration of wort-soluble compounds. Thanks to that solubility, you get less solid matter impacting your waste stream and more wort heading to your fermenter, with some brewers reporting up to a 5% increase in wort yield.
Chief Advantages:
Easy to use
Flowable at room temperature
Increase hot side yield
Reduction of solid matter in the whirlpool and waste stream
Shipping and storage space reduction
How to Brew with DynaBoost?
DynaBoost serves as a versatile companion in the brewhouse, adding a rich and dynamic hop character to your beer. This exceptionally flowable oil extract delivers varietal hop characteristics to your brew through a high concentration of beer-soluble compounds. Thanks to its solubility, brewers may see an increase in wort yield due to a reduction in trub.
Kettle: DynaBoost carries variety-specific alpha acid content and can be used both as an early bittering addition, or a late aroma addition in the kettle.
Post-Boil / Whirlpool: DynaBoost was specifically designed to boost aromatics as a whirlpool addition. The wort soluble oil extract will deliver variety-specific aroma attributes and minimize trub, potentially increasing your whirlpool yield.
Fermentation: DynaBoost requires contact time with hot liquid to incorporate into wort or fermenting beer. For that reason, brewers who choose to use DynaBoost in the fermenter often use a "dip hop" method, where a small portion of the wort is transferred to the fermenter hot (170-200°F) along with DynaBoost. The hot wort and DynaBoost mixture is then allowed to stand for a short period before the main knockout at fermentation temperature, after which yeast can be pitched.
Dry Hopping: DynaBoost was not intended to be used as a dry-hop addition. Instead, it is recommended to replace 25-50% of dry hop additions with HyperBoost™, leaving up to 50% of the additions as T-90 or Cryo Hops® pellets.

Rhizomes are now in stock and orders are being fulfilled. If you haven't ordered your rhizomes yet, this is your last chance till next season!
12.0-14.0% AA - Grows well in dry, hot climates. Does not grow well in moist climates. Subject to spider mites, and a great Ornamental hop on top of it's fantastic flavors!
Very distinctive bittering hop usually used in ales. Some brewers use for a finish hop as well, it has a medium spicy aroma. The flavor/aroma is spicy and unique, with a huge following of loyal fans.

Chinook hops are a very distinctive dual-purpose hop used in Ales for both bittering and flavor/aroma. Chinook hops are commonly used in West Coast style IPAs. Distinct, medium intensity spice and pine characteristics with subtle notes of grapefruit. Some consider the bittering quality of this hop to be a bit rough because it has a lingering quality. On the other hand, some brewers can't get enough! The flavor/aroma is spicy and unique, with a huge following of loyal fans.
